Recondiling shipping costs when selling in the classifides

As per usual you guys rock. thanks for the advice on the shipping. it helps a ton. I don't worry about people walking on a deal or cheating me. Everyone I have met through this forum has been great, and very helpful. I just want to estimate my shipping so I am able to provide a fair deal...

Recondiling shipping costs when selling in the classifides

Sorry, I hit the enter key too quickly. . So my question. When posting items, and they say +shipping...how do you reconcile the shipping cost with the buyer. I would use FedEx as they are open when I head in to work. Do you guys get a flat rate anywhere for a particular sized box? I am...

Mv motored risers and lifting the tank

Was going to finally pull the trigger on this, but I was wondering if this will interfere with lifting the tank for plug changes or throttle body sync. Any advise or tips will be appreciated.

Synchronization of throttle bodys on 2013 FJR

Just curious if the tool leading to that cylinder could be off / leaky / bad. did you try switching hoses to the vacuum on the throttle body. Just a thought to remove the tool from being the issue.

-3 and riding the new KLR

I now have 750 miles on it. The best thing i was surprised by is the nice road manners, and comfortable seating position. The FJR actually felt cramped when I took it out after riding the KLR. for me this makes a perfect compliment to the FJR. I Saw someone write about the VStrom. I really...

Share a nice experience after getting the bike out of storage.

I store my bike in my shop in the basement over the winter. It started right up and I took it out for a little run tonight. I recently bought a KLR and have been riding that while the streets were still a bit salty. It was nice to get back on the FJR. The KLR is a great bike to mess around...

-3 and riding the new KLR

So i got mine finally broken in. The SW-Motech gear I had on order was back ordered till later this month. I didn't want to go without, so I ordered PivotPegz footpegs, I didn't know if I would like the pivoting of the footpegs, but I really like that feature. I ended up with nomad rider...

All New Tom Tom Rider GPS

If the unit has an external speaker, and allows you to upload routes then I'm in. that way I could use it for both the car and bike. I think this is at a price point where it should be. I have been looking for a less expensive solution that has the ability to mount to a bike securely.

-3 and riding the new KLR

any recommendations for any good pegs. I bought the SWMotech, they are on back order so I would still have time to cancel if I see something I like better.

-3 and riding the new KLR

I can't wait for the temps to hit 40. by then I'll have the crash guards on. it will be a nice compliment to the FJR. My wife is now scared she'll never see me again, she may be right, it just looks like too much fun. Thanks for the advice guys. One question, I hear the footpegs are slick...

-3 and riding the new KLR

I picked up a new lime green KLR. I had to go up to Mora Minnesota to get it. they were very nice. I trailer-ed it home, that was scary, I had never trailer-ed a bike before. I got it home, backed the trailer up to a snow bank and unloaded it. I couldn't resist and took it for a quick...

    Possibly Adding a KLR650

I figure with the older models being around 4K and a 2014 should be able to be had for 5500. with the newer improvements on the new edition, I shouldn't have to put money or effort into a new seat and suspension. I figure I will instead put on frame protection, doohickey, oil screen, and ride...

    Possibly Adding a KLR650

I don't know what bug has bit me, but I have had a hankering for a KLR. If you are not familiar with the bike it's a single cylinder dual sport that is water cooled. I know it's a bit heavy and tall, but I want a dual sport that I can actually ride to my destination. I'd hate to trailer my...

    Suggest a destination to ride

I just got back from the Ozarks. Fun place to go, great roads. Eureka Springs is really nice. The best part is it's fairly close and warmer. we did it in 4 days. From Minnesota, we were down in about 3/4 of a day. great ride. for us it was 35 straight south. I would think for you it...

    Tire Valve Stem Replacement Intervals

Tanker, we met at the Tech Day in nowthen this year. very nice bike by the way. I just changed tires for the first time myself. I was also worried about changing the valve stem, and didn't want the 90degree stems so, I went with the ones kurvygirl as well. with them being just a tad shorter...

    help with comfort

Hi there, I have to agree with the gang here. For me the first issue was the seat. I did a Bill Mayer seat. I posted on the forum and a few people let me try different seats. I liked the look and feel of the Bill Mayer a bit better. Best money spent, everyone gave me the recommendation to...
