    2018 FJR AUX Tank Plumbing

Yes, I think the rubber gasket is deteriorated after 15+ years. It is / was probably leaking air but you can't see air. 😁 To be honest I am surprised it is working at all as I did not think FJR's fuel system was a closed loop back then. I have 25,000+ miles now on my setup with no issues.

    2018 FJR AUX Tank Plumbing

You will be filling both tanks as it would take a long time for the gas to flow to the main tank while you are at the gas pump. I fill the main tank first and then close the gas cap. I then fill the AUX tank.

    2018 FJR AUX Tank Plumbing

What I have found on the FJR is that if you are only going to fill one tank the best one is the main tank and NOT the AUX tank.

Brodie, No, I do not have a puke tank. Just the normal vent line.

    Gen 3 bulkhead fitting

No, I do not have a shut off valve. since the AUX tank is now the vent for the gas tank I do not want to accidently turn off a valve.

    Gen 3 bulkhead fitting

Be sure you have good venting for the AUX tank and it will work great.

    Gen 3 bulkhead fitting

I used AN fitting and the blue non-collapseable fuel line. Check out the photos.
