I bought a 06 AE a year ago with 132K miles for $5.5K in California. The only expenses have been maintenance, tune-up and complete fluid changes. Put tires on last week the day I turned up 140K miles. I'd have no qualms about getting on the bike for a cross country trip.

Thanks for all the input. Since the tire was losing over 10 psi over a few days, I took it to my trusted motorcycle tire dealer for help. It took them probably 15 minutes and a whole bunch of soapy water to find a small puncture. They pulled the wheel, dismounted the tire and patched the leak...

I'm a recent owner of a new (to me) 2006 AE. The bake came with bar rises installed. I wanted to try moving them out a little bit. I took off the cover over the handle bar adjustment and found 2 bolts. Do I loosen both?

This may sound like stupid question, but I've never owned a bike with a center stand.

I appreciate all the input. From what I'm reading, the consensus is that use some revs, above 1300 (like I'd have time to look t the tach) to keep the clutch engaged, while using the rear brake to control speed and lean angle. Is there anyone riding an AE that uses this technique?

I just purchased a 2006 FJR with the electronic clutch. When I did a tight U turn on my old bike the process would be ride the rear brake, slip the clutch and control the speed in turn with the throttle balancing the clutch and rear brake. How do you do this without the clutch?
