Turns out I had a massive heart attack last spring. At 59 and active I did not see that coming. Fortunately, it happened while I was driving past a hospital so I'm still here, but my track riding days are over. So...

Complete Track Setup for sale. If you've ever wanted to give track riding a try but didn't want to risk your FJR, here's your chance. I learned more about riding a motorcycle in 1 day on the track then in 40 years on the street.

Great Bike - It's an '04, never titled. I have the original MSO so would be sold with that and bill of sale.

Bike is 100% perfect mechanically. Lost 6th gear a few years ago so motor was replaced with a 1500 mile, bone-stock one. Probably only 4-5,000 miles on new motor.

Bike has literally every upgrade you could hope for:

Penske Triple rear shock
Penske 20 mil kit in front forks
Brembo 19x18 master
Yamaha R1 monoblock front calipers, with 320mm Galfer wave rotors
Yoyodyne slipper clutch
M4 full exhaust with ECU flashed to match
Vortex clip ons
Vortex keyless gas cap
Vortex front stay
Scott's steering damper
Woodcraft rearsets
Woodcraft case savers
Stainless steel brake lines, not sure of brand
Frame sliders, not sure of brand
K+N air filter
Stompgrip tank pads
Translogic quickshifter (not installed, may or may not work)
Body work decent but not perfect
Good chain/sprockets
New battery with tender installed
All maintenance items (plugs, fluids, filters) fresh last winter.

Perfect trackday bike. Faster than even the most modified 600, and 3 times as reliable. I ran in the faster end of advanced group and I'm no Valentino.

Spares:
Set of wheels with rotors
New Armour Bodies Super Sport kit, with Dzus fasteners installed. Tested at 1 trackday. Primed, but not even painted yet.
Front forks, stock, 7,000 miles
Tire warmers
Track stands
Stock calipers/rotors/master, rear shock,
New Supercorsa rear tire
Factory service manual
Various levers, rearset pieces, gaskets, spacers, air and oil filters, etc., etc.

Pretty much everything you need to get started.

Got it listed on CL for $3,500 but I'll sell it here for $3,000.

Call or text with questions, (610) 390-8032.

Thanks,

Scott

What a deal someone is going to get !

I sold mine several years ago (Actually gave it away, just like you're doing)

At 70 years of age, the world going past at 160 MPH is just too dam fast.

What I did was I went out and bought myself a little 250 Kawasaki. It's an absolute riot.

The top speed is only about 110, (If I can find a track with a long enough straightaway), but it will corner with the best of them.

Race day is even more fun. It's like pit bike racing.

Good Luck on the sale.

Thanks for the good wishes and congrats to you for keeping at it at 70! I'd love to keep going but with the meds they have me on it would just be irresponsible.

I just snuck it out for a little road ride. Even after riding it for 4 years it still amazes me. Under 350 lbs, 129 rwhp, corners like it's on rails, stops on a dime...just gotta love it!

Hope somebody from here ends up with it.

Good luck with your little Kawi, sounds like a ball!

SOLD, pending funds!
