bar vibration damper

have tried to search for a link or info on the tool needed to remove the little harmonic damper at the bar ends. I have tried to use a socket like I recall reading some where, but am starting to curl the bar ends so figure I had better stop before I screw it up to bad and bite the big one and buy the tool.

any help on this would be great

Are you talking about the bar end weight, or the stuff inside they bolt to? The end weight just ises an allen wrench, 5mm IIRC. As for removing the stuff inside the handlebar, I wouldn't have a clue, either how or why.
