Made the jump today for a new '06 and drove to Sportland, in Bloomington, Ill. 800-232-0930. Been dealing with Chad last week.
Showed up, and bike was prepped and paperwork was ready as promised. Nice folks to talk to and deal with. Regret we couldn't come together on an extended warranty at this time, but things might still work out.
They agreed to a 600 mile service with the price for the bike, threw a couple of t-stirts in my hands, a card good for 15% off all accessories for the next year, and a chit for a tank full of gas for the FJR when I left.
They have a nice showroom and professional looking shop. Said they'd been in business 25 years, and their shop manager and head wrench had been with them a lot of years.
Made me feel like they appreciated my business, and I hope to do more with them.
