There is an ad on TV for Medicare Supplemental (I think). It features a mature gentleman riding an unpainted café racer. It's a really neat looking bike. Does anyone recognize make and model or know what it is derived from?

I did a little research on that as well... it's a CB550 with a front wheel off a CX650, and a custom rear section/seat of course. Awesome looking bike.

Looks totally different to me. The bike he is riding is an inline 4 and the orange bike is a Honda opposed v-twin. Similar to a Moto Guzi.

The CB550 is an in-line four. The orange bike is what the front wheel came off. Carlson_mn originally posted two pics. The first one is gone.

BTW, turning CB550s into cafe racers was/is apparently pretty popular. Google "Honda CB550 images" and you get lots of pictures.

That's a CX500 or 650 engine. Honda turned it sideways and ran it on the flattracks. The AMA in Colombus has one.
