A Week Ago a huge fire started in the local Mtns on a day when we were having 50 mph wind gusts. By the next night it was in our beloved Mtn county park. A near miracle happened on Monday as a rain front came in & rain & snow doused the fire (rain has been very scarce this year).
Wednesday we would have gone up there for a hike but it will be closed for a while, so we drove out to Golden Valley (dirt rd why I took the car) for an awesome hike on the Cave Spring Trail. After a little bit I hear what sounded like a horse noise's with the wind blow'n I thought I was hearing things, a few min. later I came across some wild Burros, well that's what I heard!
