"Ductail" rear fender extender

Has anybody tried the Pyramid Plastics "Ductail" rear fender extender ?

Never tried it but I like the look of it. It may be a slight pain in the a$$ when changing the rear tire.

Rear fender? That got chopped off years ago.

I made my own rear Fendah Extendah out of an old wastebasket.

Why would someone want to extend the rear fender when everyone else wants to chop theirs off? Because some of us value functionality over form.

Timing is everything. I got mine in the email today. Unfortunately I'm going to be experiencing PMS for a while.....Wisconsin winters and all. I got mine from fleebay via uk. I hate having to clean my Shad top case all the time, hopefully this will help.

The "Ductail" does not seem to offer as much protection as this extender:

In order to purchase this extender, you have to join the

UK FJ owners club. By the time, you add up its

cost, shipping and owner club membership... it's pricey.

The "Ductail" is readily available in the US.
