One more comment and I'll shut up. I did take the fork brace off and went for a test ride. I think I could detect a slight tendency to steering wobble or wander slightly. The slight wobble seemed to happen when running over pavement irregularities and would immediately die out without tightening my grip on the handle bars. I re-installed the MCL brace and noticed a definite improvement. I could not detect any kind of distortion in the alignment of the fork tubes with the brace installed. So, I will keep the MCL fork brace installed. No doubt tires along with wheel/tire balance was the source of my original decelerating head shake issue.

I can't imagine riding an Fjr hard enough to induce fork flex. You have really got to be loading up that front tire to get it to flex. I think most wobble is attributable to forks that need maintenance or bad REAR shock. That's right I said rear shick.
