I read all posts to gather new milestones since the last update on 10/31/2012 and revised the "List." Let me know if I missed anyone or got anything wrong.

My only big observation is that there's no 2012 or newer FJR's on the list. Common you slackers and start racking up some miles!

Ahem, it takes a while to put 50,000 miles on a 2015. Trust me, I'm working on it.

Please take me and my FJRs off the list.

I do not count enjoyment or achievement in turns of an odometer...

Today we are stopped in Tropic, Utah for the night. Our tour is going wonderful. As we load the groceries in the top boxes in the parking lot, a nice couple pulls up on a beautiful 1980 Yamaha XS 1100 special equipped with a period correct Vetter full fairing and a full set of Gigi hard bags. They had been in this trip for 32 days and were finially heading home to Oregon.

The bike has 318,000 miles on it and looks and runs like the day they bought it new.

We chatted old And new yamahas for a minute and went on our way.

Fixed it for you Wheatie. At least twice you thought it was a big deal. lol

A lot more goes into getting those high miles than just hopping on and riding, namely how well a person can maintain and/or repair their bikes.

What, no award mention for having 5000 miles? Dang, I'll never make this list.

Met Gray Ghost at a roadside rest stop in Ohio last Friday. He says he'll have added over 60000 miles this year alone on his new to him '03. He also plans on resurrecting his old '03 by welding up the engine case where the cam tensioner wore through, and replacing the tensioner parts. He'll then go for 500000 miles if the group says it's not cheating to have a few replacement (tensioner) parts in the engine.

I gave him a safety pin to hold some of his gear together. He does take ATGATT to a very high level.

Great talking with you Gray Ghost!

So does this only count as indicated? My 06 is about to reach 100K miles, but at that point will read 97,512 do to the cluster being swapped out at 2,488.
We will give you the extra 2488 miles but you have to include a photo of the glovebox sticker they are supposed to include when they do the swap. Seriously, take a three day weekend and add the extra miles!
