I will keep this pithy. Not because I don't have a lot to say, but because I don't have a lot of time, and besides since this all happened in July - I have forgotten half of the f*cked up things that were said and/or done on this trip, and the half which I do remember - can't be put in print. The small consolation for me, is that I remember the better parts of the story. Unfortunately for you, I can't share it with you..

Although, at one point, I had grandiose plans for this ride report. I wanted to do it Top Gear style. Doug would have been Jeremy - because Jeremy is an Orangutan, and Doug rides an Orange-utan. I would have been Hammond, because well, I am the pretty one, and have perfect teeth - compared to this lot. Robert would have been May - not because he is necessarily Cap't Slow, but because May is the only one left to pick.

Fortunately enough for the snow-flakes, I never got the time to cook up that brew. The things that were said over the intercoms on this ride - would make a whore blush. This Canada Special was never going to air anyway, and if it would have, the snow-flakes would have puddled (or is it piddled), the glaciers would have melted, the Polar Bears would have drowned, and there would have been Global Whining on an unprecedented scale.

Now, don't ever say that I don't do anything to prevent Global Whining!

Without further ado.. I present our suspects.. who were looking pretty fresh after drinking into the night...courtesy of our excellent host George!! The lady of the house was away, leaving the boys to play. The Tequila was strong with us. Doug and I were there first, and as is the tradition, starting drinking before Robert got there. Dude was iron-butting it, without a certificate to show for it. Riding through critter infested countryside in the middle of the night, dodging deer, and cutting it close to midnight, we were close to declaring him a DNF, before he even had a chance to DNS.

The next morning (ok laaate morning) George had an entourage, we followed him like good little sheep to breakfast. It was at "The" Stilly Diner in Arlington, WA. I can't remember what day it was, but the farmer's market was in town, and we had to ride around, and then one more time to find parking somewhere around the corner. It was going to become the pace of the day, things were going to move a little slow.

Also, the NorthWet Geriatric Conference was in town..there were posters everywhere!

George was our tour guide to the Washington Alps, I have never been through here, despite having visited WA thrice on the moto-bike. Shame on me!!

...awww crap! I gotta run!!

To be continued...

No we lost me!

I started it, now I have to find the time to finish it.. even if I have to let people down on the narration and just post the pictures.

Words. We want words. You can't just whet our appetites and fail to fulfil.

You'll just have to find the time.

The Stilly dinner isn't a bad little place but if something is going on in town it can be quite a wait. And a nice place to start a ride over the NCH.

Looking forward to the "Rest Of The Story"

That is indeed quite an introduction. Leaving a lot to the imagination, and everyone on the edge of their seat....

Where's the stupid eating popcorn emoji when I need it?

You can put in print what ever you want over at the other sandbox! Sounds like the unmentionable stuff is the color commentary of this story

I think this RR should be titled - if you can't find the time to write - at least post the pictures!

Feeling a little bit of inspiration, reading Tyler's Canada RR - to at least post the pictures!

As promised..here are more pictures (mainly)..

After breakfast George led us to the North Cascades..
