Just a couple of questions before I go and lay down the money for the Fjr.

Does anybody make a top quality riders backrest for the Fjr?

Does anybody make a heated riders seat for the Fjr?

Any replies will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Hi there,

Yes to both. Russell Day-Long seats offer both the drivers backrest and heated seats.

Theres also Corbin that offers a heated seat but I dont think they have a drivers backrest.

My wife is very happy with the Premier Cycle accessories back rest.

I have bar-back on my FJR and I could not touch a back rest unless I took my hands off the grips............

That might be the same case here, can't really tell yet.

Just went and dropped the dime on it and rode it home.

It is totally different than my LT BMW.

Some changes needed:

First thing I noticed is that it does need an after market seat right off the bat.

Then there is that little windshield that has got to go. I can not believe how small that thing is.

The next thing that I noticed is that I will have to have a footpeg lowering kit.

Also, the bar backs or risers.

And finally the frame sliders.

Anybody want to lead me in the right direction for the above mentioned products.

That's just to get comfy.

Then there are those other farkels to start on when I get comfortable.
