This one fits in the mirror hole. I was wondering if any of you had one laying around that you wanted to get rid of. Maybe you upgraded to a different kind. I'm picking up my FJR in a couple weeks and I can't find one locally, so I thought I'd ask if someone would want to let their go cheap. Would like to use my GPS for the ride home to TX. Let me know.

Can't order it? It's one of the cheapest they have in the catalog. And you can't have mine, it's busy! :assassin:

This is a joke - right? Bought a new FJR but cannot afford a rubber ball? Is it Friday yet? Somewhere it must be Friday!

Yeah, I could probably order one but I'm not sure that it would get here before I have to leave. Also, shipping is about the same cost as the item, so I tried to find one locally. Unfortunately, couldn't find one here close to home. I was looking for some help, but it doesn't look like I'm going to get any here. Just forget about it.

BTW... some of you are cold.

I'm new to the GPS mounting thing so what else do I neeed to order to mount my Garmin Quest to my Feejer besides this holder? https://www.premiercycleaccessories.com/RAM...1%20-%20inv.htm
I know I need a ball mount that will work in the threaded hole near the clutch but which one will work with the above mount??
That holder will work just fine with a ram ball provided you only wish to run off battery power.

If you want to power the unit and/or charge it while on the bike you'll need a power cord. I don't know where you get one of those.

There is a specific Quest Motorcycle mount. Google or Froogle is your friend.

here's one example: Quest Motorcycle Mount

I will most likly just run the Quest with it's own battery power and not need the electrical kit.

So I'm guessing I need these three options below to go with the mount for the Quest to make it work on my Feejer??

This ball mounts in the threaded hole by the clutch:

This ball mounts to the back of the mount for the Quest:

And it seems like I'll need at least a 1 1/2 inch arm to connect to both the ball mounts:

Or should I just buy this mount and use a bolt to fasten it to the threaded hole near the clutch??

I'm a real newbie when it comes to hooking up this kind of stuff on my bike.
