Motorcyclist Killer Jailed!

Hi Gang

Today here in Oz a female driver was jailed for 6 years for crossing a road medium and killing a motorcyclist instantly. Apparently she was so pissed (drunk) she kept driving her car until it would not go any more due to the damage caused by the impact. I am surprised she got 6 years with a minimum of 4 years to serve, normally these sorts of outrageous behaviours would get much less maybe our learned friends are finally getting the message.

I pray the rider's family now find some sort of peace.

-guess that's some progress...over here they probably would have gotten 6 mos. license suspension, 1 yr. of probation and been ordered to tell the surviving family members 'sorry'! :angry:

yeah, too bad drunk drivers are too far gone to think that there are goning to jail for DUI.
