After reading the ADV threads here recently this line jumped out at me:

"But with the sport-touring genre soon morphing into the adventure tour segment . . . ."

I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. While I really like their idea, from a business point of view concentrating on a high-end sport-touring bike never made sense to me. When bikes as good as the FJR and C14 sit around dealers and don't get sold for sometimes several years, the thought of a market for something 2-3X as much $ with little to no dealer support seemed to me like a doomed concept from the beginning.

This is an old clip of the FJR ADV style... (not me)

I'm hoping someone will come along and buy or invest in to help to bring them back. Maybe some other manufacturer (Not Harley) who could use economies of scale to bring the costs down some. Probably not but that engine was a killer concept.
