Wire it up for heated gear. Get a heated jacket liner and heated gloves and you’ll be comfortable in any weather up to and including when the snow flies. I have Warm’nSafe, also sold as First Gear, heated gear and am very happy with it. There is a lifetime guarantee on the clothing itself for electrical issues.

Riding in Maine to 18 - 24 degrees no problem. Autumn is here (sigh), have to put on my new V-strom hand guards. Love the heated grips, but 45 minutes or more of cold air hitting the hand sucks.
