Pretty good fly and ride deal...

These bargain new prices have to kill resale, no? I paid $10,400 for a 3 month old left over 2012 last August. If I held out I would gladly spent 2k +/- for a red bike. :)

I don't plan on re-selling it.

Not the right time of year for a Michigan fly/ride, but savings to be had.

Cannot link, but there is an "e-bay buy it now": $11,988 plus $278.50 fees

For me, with these gas prices, I'd either drive and trailer it home, or get my wife to drive me there and ride it home, detouring via the Ozarks (good weather permitting). I've got more time than money...

Hold out for an ES. It is worth it.
Unless you have GP suspension that is setup perfect for you and you want to move it to the new bike.
Still worth it, IMO.

I had a full GP suspension (forks and Penske) on my 1st Gen and the ES just feels better. Might be due to the fork design? I dunno.

Plus I can change from 1-up to 2-up with the flick of a switch, and couldn't do that with the Penske.

YMMV.

Joe's find of $11.6k for an ES with 6k miles is smokin' good.
