So I was out for a ride on the first warm day of the year, today and noticed the temp gauge was running a little warm 5-6 bars when it's usually at 4. Nothing serious but wondering why. When I got home I took a close look at the rad from the front and back sides. Man are those fins on my 06 tight and close together. Almost like there's no gap between the fins. There seems to be some stuff in them, dust and dirt mostly. Not too many bugs.
So what is the trick to cleaning then. Sometimes in the past I've used the hose to flush the car rad from the back side to push the stuff back out the way it came. The FJR doesn't have much room to get the nozzle there. I don't want to use a brush of any sort.
Any thoughts.
