Riding the WABDR Over Labor Day Weekend

Ditching the FJR and mounting up on the XR650R, but this long weekend should be an interesting ride over the spine of Washington State. The Washington Backcountry Discovery Route (WABDR) should be fun. I'll try and post up on my blog when/if possible....and have the GPS transmitter show our progress from the Oregon border to the Canadian border.

Jeez....600 miles in 4 days? That's gonna be harder than doing 4600 miles in 3 days I'm sure.

I'm saving the track in case my dual sport follows my rv out that way some day.

 

Our local roads are pretty much gone from the storm. Mud sections are under six feet of water in a lot of places and we lost a couple of covered bridges in Vermont. So I'll be riding the FJR this weekend.
