My Indian name is "Pants On Fire"
It seems that I was the guinea pig for tick fixes in the greater Hampton Roads area. I brought my bike to Sunrise Cycle (an authorized Yamaha dealer) located on Little Creek Rd, Norfolk, VA
I have now had my bike back from them for approximately 3 weeks & have put approximately 2,000 miles on it since it's return.
The engine seems to run great. I think the mechanic did a good job.
On the downside... I am having a time getting them to put my plastics back on the bike correctly. Hopefully, this next time is a charm.
If there are any folks in this area that end up taking your bike here for the tick, expect a good job on the engine & a so-so job on the plastics.
Ask to speak with Gordon, the shop manager. Besides being a stand up guy that knows what the hell he's talking about, he's a hell of a nice guy. He knows what to look & listen for.
