Switch Wiring Question

I'm in the final stages of wiring up my PHIDs and just about everything works great. I bought a "high amp" switch from electrical connection. It's a 7 blade double pole double throw illuminated switch that I'm using in a single pole configuration with a relay.

Blade #6 is connected to power via the bike's bus--this is used for simple on-off functionality

Blade #5 is connected to relay blade #1 (signal on voltage)

Blade #4 is connected to the yellow high beam wire--this turns the lights on when the brights are on.

It works great except I don't know how to wire the switch for illumination. I'm pretty sure blade #7 is for that purpose, but what should it be connected to???? I've tried ground and always on power. Neither work.

Without looking at the switch... it should be the ground. Can't say why it doesnt work.

Is it possible the ground post needs to be jumped to something else, too?

Problem solved. The #5 post needed to be jumped given that it was a double pole switch. Works a-ok now!!
