Texas boy in Arkansas,,,

I am getting ready to take a trip up into the Hot Springs, Arkansas area.

I was planning a couple of days riding there.

The route I mapped out was 7 headed North from Camden, up to 5 East, to 9 North, to 154 West and back to 7 South.

Any ideas or suggestions from the locals would be very helpful.

I am coming from Houston, Tx. to visit some family just outside of Hampton.

If you are near there and would like to go for a ride I would be glad to have someone to ride with as well.

The dates I will be up there are June 20th-June24th...

Info on good food, speed traps, places to stop and cool things to do would make the trip mo' betta' for a good ol' Texas boy visiting your state.

stay out of the town of Hot Springs - too much traffic...

298 that runs east/west from Blue Springs to Story is a nice road to ride. 27 is a fun road also.

Have fun - its gonna be hot so use a camelback if you can.

The best stuff in Arkansas is still a bit further north, up above Russelville. That may be more than you want for day rides.

I'll be up above Russelville for a few days ridin, but it'll be the 16th - 19th.
