Hi,
Tmaken2157 a handle acquired from aol in 1988. Been thinking about a FJR for a long time and I might be bringing home one in two days. We live near saratoga springs and are minutes away from great riding in the adirondacks or vermont. I found a listing for a 2007 with 25k and according to the owner it was serviced "fully" by the guy he got it from. So after reading up on the bike and checking the VIN I see two recalls (starter switch and spider ground) were done. Also see some info about greasing components in the back is recommended i.e. swing arm and dog bone bearings. I'll have to review some more.
My current ride is a suzuki 1200s from 2003. A very simple motorcycle that has had served me well over the years for 50,000 miles.
Im going to hold onto to just in case its brother has a problem or two that pops up.
