With the '05 acting tired (260k) It is time to start the process of adding an Aux. Fuel cell to the '08.

I have decided (I think) to use my current aux tank and adapt the mounting bracket. Actually I will

build a new mounting base. Iggy sent some pics of his adapted base, and I will use that as a platform

for my build. (Thanks Iggy)

Its been awhile since I have paid the process any due attention. Just shopping for a bulkhead is a

PITA. I would like any input or ideas. My early considerations:

Bulkhead: Fuel Safe Bulkhead Fitting with Washer and Nut

Hose Barb: JEGS Performance Products 100845, JEGS AN Female to Hose Barb Adapter Fittings | JEGS Performance Products

Has anyone here used these?

I want to go with 3/8 hose throughout (Even though I have a fuel pump mounted to the bottom of the cell)

Thanks !

I promised I would post some pics of the process…

Grounding wire to frame / Fuel pump to fuze box:

Stiffy kit was added for support of rear rack:

I increased the side bolt size for added strength, but the frame mount didn't take to kindly of off road riding:
