WOW!!......what are ya'll doing to your tires??? Just put a set of Contimotions on my bike but haven't really had a chance to run them much yet.Just replaced the Z6's, the front went at 7500 miles and the rear at 8500 miles and that is on the chip and seal roads around here.

Mine has to warm up to the point of having 2 bars on the temp gauge before I ever take off. It shuddered some when I first bought it but has smoothed out now (8500 miles), if it shudders violently it probably needs a clutch plate soaking.

Be careful, A friend of mine tied his down in his toyhauler for a trip to Texas and blew both fork seals..........since the bike only had 15,000 miles I doubt they were worn out.

I have found the way that works for me is to start with the bike on the sidestand. Then with my toes facing towards the rear of the bike I push down on the centerstand and raise the bike up until I feel both feet of the stand touch the ground. Then I push back and down on the centerstand lever...

From my experimentation in temps from 25 to 105 degrees I have found that I like them out in the winter and closed in the summer. I haven't noticed any difference in engine heat but with them out I get less wind on my legs.

I'm sold on the Tourmasters..........the wife has a sabre and I have the pivot 2........have ridden in 25 degree temps and stayed nice and warm.

Competition Accessories was selling Shark full face helmets the other day for 79.99........I bought one and it is great.

I use the Pivot 2 and the wife has the Sabre 3/4 tourmaster jackets both work very well with no bunching.

My 08 would do the same thing when new. After I had some miles on the bike it has stopped stalling.

Sounds like a bad switch...........have you tried not turning on the hand shifter and see if it does it.
