I use a really long straw and fish it up under the chinbar of my RF1000. It takes some patience and is NOT something you can do in traffic - only for open isolated stretches of highway in the desert. :)

Brian, great idea. The laptop with a camera is easy - just use any of the dozens of IM clients, Yahoo, MSN, etc. and make sure Tyler has an account on the same IM system (AIM, Yahoo, Google Talk, MSN are the main ones). You can have a group video chat and get to see/hear Ty.

I don't have a Wing but 3 of the riders I work with do. They use J&M headsets for their Wings so your best bet might be to look at the J&M CB/audio system for the FJR.

I'm a little late for comments, but nice shots LAroo. I saw the focal length was 280mm - did you use a 70-200 + 1.4 TC? Or maybe the 200mm prime + 1.4? Did you have any special pass to close to the action or were they shot from general access areas (maybe quite a bit of cropping?)?

Living in one of the most boring parts of the country I wanted a bike that could travel long distances and then have great fun when I got to the twisties. The FJR suits the bill at a price that beats all the others.

A friend of mine just got a ContourHD from VHoldr - https://www.vholdr.com/contourhd/techspecs I'm thinking about picking one up soon but their availability is limited right now - they seem to sell out as quickly as they get the shipments in.
