    2013 FJR - Product announced!

The only major new thing on it that excites me is the cruise control. It will be a nice and more refined bike, however, it doesnt really gain much on the competition. The C14 already has more power, is smoother, 6-speed, smooth gear-box, etc. Imagine if they stick the 1441cc ZX14r engine in...

    Wish me Luck!

I have a 2008 ZX-14 and a 2007 FJR. I do a good bit of sport-touring on the ZX-14. I have some soft luggage for it and whatnot. For me personally, when riding solo, the ZX-14 with nice soft luggage sport-tours just as well as the FJR. I *really* like the smooth light clutch, throttle...

Test ride results: FJR1300A vs Concours 14

Wait and test ride a 2010 C14. It has been significantly improved over the 2009 C14. Dealers are saying they will have them by the end of the month.

Rumors of a Honda Supersport apparently false

To me, it is starting to look like that there is a single VFR1200F that can be had with two transmissions - standard and autoshift. There is a factory option of hard luggage and whatnot. As best I can tell - that is the bike people. Personally, I am liking it. I want to see what it weighs...

    VFR1200

I have both a 2008 ZX-14 and a 2007 FJR. I have soft luggage for my ZX-14 and use it a good bit for "sport-touring". I actually "toured" on the ZX-14 more this year than the FJR. For me, the ZX-14 with soft luggage, with the exception of wind protection, does as nice of a job of...

Rumors of a Honda Supersport apparently false

As long as you can see things behind you, unlike some other ST's out there currently, I am fine with the mirrors. I dont want mine chromed out or whatnot, however, flat black Rustoleum takes care of that in about 10min.

Rumors of a Honda Supersport apparently false

Not only the K1300-S and GT but also the C14 and the FJR. If they keep the weight down to around so that it compares with the K1300GT, get the power up to around 170hp, give it heated seats/grips with cruise control - it may be a kick butt bike.

    Why I didn't ride yesterday

More proof, that when given a nice day and a choice of riding or doing chores - riding is always the correct choice.

    Honda VFR1200

This months Cycle World has some spy shots of it. They mention that the V4 may be rated as high as 200hp or whatnot. Frankly, I would like to see this bike replace the ST1300, have 145+hp to the rear tire, keep the weight around 600lbs, have cruise, heated grips and heated seat to compete...

    Speed Triple input needed, anyone?

I did a Wheelie School a couple of years ago and they used the Speed Triple. I have alwas had big sport bikes like ZX-11's, ZX-12r's, ZX-14 and recently added the FJR. The Speed Triple was a hoot and I really enjoyed riding it. They do great wheelies. :D On a side note, I have really...

    Ontario to Deals Gap

I was just in your area a few weeks ago. I did a big loop around Lake Huron back down into North Carolina. I live fairly close to Charlotte. Anyway... If you are looking for something different, you cant go wrong coming down through the Monongahela in West Virgina. 220 is one of my all time...

    ZX14 vs FJR comparo

Did just under 1400mi on the ZX-14 on a three day ride last week. Most all roads were backroads with as many curves thrown in as possible. Even did some miles on dirt and gravel backroads. Road mainly in West Virginia, Virginia and a bit of Penn. Got an affordable room at Yokums at Seneca...

Any Reason to not buy an '06 model?

Personally, I would look at a "new" leftover 08 before I would consider the 06. I personally think that the changes made to the throttle and whatnot are significant. Truthfully at this point in the year, I would wait until the 2010 models comes out and would get a "leftover" 2009 and save a...
