I went a year without the extra big foot, but the sidestand was starting to push down my parking puck.
I just got the extra big foot about 6 weeks ago and it's makes the bike much more secure.
So nice having an FJR that actually leans over isn't it?
Linc,
I do the same thing and have the same issues with my snowblower, mower etc. if I don't start them up and let them warm up once in awhile.
First start of the snowblower is always the hardest each season if I let it set too long... starts fine after that.
Nice thing is the FJR always...
I too have a qwest and while I agree it could use a few more vents, it is much more quiet.
Very comfortable helmet.. 2 fellow riders and co-workers now own them and they all agree.
I stumbled across this thread last week and thought some suggestions might work on my really sun faded clutch resivoir cover.
So I checked out the black magic stuff on Amazon and the reviews kind of went back and forth, but someone suggested Forever Black on the Amazon reviews.
I applied it...
I went with the standard size on my FJR, I think they look really good and blend in with the bike really well, but that is just my opinion.
Welcome to the forum and congrats on the purchase.
I haven't tried a Bell, but I just bought a new Qwest a few months ago... yes it does fog a little, of course you can fix this with the one click forward on the lock switch.
So quiet and so comfy compared to my old KBC and HJC.
I really enjoy the helmet, talked a co-worker into getting one as...
Midlife, I am down there all the time.

I have another 2 next weekend.
One of my co-workers at WSU also has an FJr, he's riding an '07 though.
Ride safe, Lewiston traffic...
Where at in Northern Idaho?
I am up in Moscow...
Lots of good roads throughout Idaho.
But I don't have any tips on southern either sorry.
Welcome to the state though :)
If people are still in need shoot me a pm.
I have a pair of draggin jeans that are 50x30 and a pair of either tourmaster or first gear pants that fit when I wore a 50.
I just lost 100 pounds this past 7 months and I ordered my new one piece suit as my reward.
I now wear a 36 yay!!!
I need to...

Just wanted to say red and black is one of my favorite combos, I think it turned out pretty nice.
It could use one more black stripe, like if the bottom part of the lower fairing was black it might contrast a little better.
But overall it turned out good I think.
Thank you ahead of time for any help I get from this site.
I have always appreciated this site but now I am using it for a personal gain and I admit it.
My wife nominated me to win an LCD and a mountain bike, from a local group of radio stations, and I am now a finalist.
If you wouldn't mind...
I am sure he is still around.
I know sometimes he travels out of town for work.
He might not have had a chance to check it.
Gary is very trustworthy, don't worry I am sure you will hear back from him soon.
