Mine was not as severe but similar to wannabes experience. Could be a safety issue imo while passing or could interrupt you or the bike at a critical time. I am not really in the know on ECU's but maybe one could have a newer or even your current ECU "flashed" and use in your current bike. Hope...

All I know is on the early gen ll models very common issue was the steering head bearing was usually loose when the bike was purchased. Mine also came with a loose front axel nut. Always a good practice on any new bike when you get it home is go over everything including checking torques. Pm.
