Canadian FJR has forwarded the model to a friend!

I owned a Blackbird in back in the day! I built this model of the bike and gave it to my son. Since then the model disappeared and I thought I would like to make another model of said bike? I just never got around to putting this model together? If anyone would like to "pay postage" from Canada...

It happens! On my four corners trip back a few years, myself and partner on a Suzuki C90 decided to ride the Dragon! Being on the FJR I led and he followed. I passed a few slower than me bikes and ended up near the bottom where others stop and confer about how much fun they just had! High fives...

My 550 Zumo just lost one of the rubber push buttons off the left face front side, second from the bottom! Does anyone know of a source so I can replace? Also the screws are nothing I have in my tool box in order to remove so would need one of those as well? Just wondering! Thanks Mark

I wouldn't let air out! That will get the tire hotter and could then de-laminate! I've seen that happen. I have had Sunday service in Flagstaff but that was a few years ago and can't remember the dealers name? Drive slow. Sorry I can't be more help.

I've sold my 2008 FJR. I was repairing this bag for possible future use! A friend who is a painter helped me to prepare and paint. I was supposed to wet sand and polish but never got around to it? I live in Canada so something to consider re shipping? Cheers Mark

When my 08 was new the windshield used to chatter up and down? Not so it wouldn't operate, it just didn't move smoothly. Eventually it stopped chattering and I never did anything more than use it. Go figure?

Does the Hazard switch supersede the Turn Signal switch? I've just sold my 08 so can't go to the garage and try myself!

How many owners before you?

Maybe donate it to a nearby school with a mechanics program? It would seem most of the forum members don't have the space, time, inclination or skill of a Grumpypoo to dismantle and reassemble such a complicated piece of machinery? I only dream of such skill!
