I was gonna ask that same thing when i bought my AE. Somewhere in this forum they explained that during idle especially when the engine is cold its sounds like the engine is running backwards which in turn sounds like the clutch engaging. Im sure someone here can explain it better than me.

I just got mine a week ago and very impreesed...
Rode home from work this morning from Kirkland to Mill Creek with 1 to 2 inch of snow without any problems. Rode slow the whole way with snow accumulating on the bike. PR3 performed well beyond my expectaion. BTW, thats with an AE!!!!!
I just got mine a week ago and very impreesed. Nothing to compare but easy to use, recie ing calls while riding is clear with no wind noise. Music is 50% volume using my iphone. Battery life is good, played music all day ride and still had juice.
Those looks nice!!! Looking into painting my top case to match the sides. Ill be painting only half of it. Not sure wether to paint the top portion or the lower. What do you guys think?
Wouldnt it be easier on the rider to just leave throttle were it is during up shifts? That seem to work for me. Down shifting i mainly use to slow down so throttle is closed. Dont really notice much lurching shifting up or down
My 06 AE has 5k miles and my front stock are needing replacement. Rear has plenty of life left. Looking at the PR3 from michelin. Question is should i go ahead and replace both? Will i notice a difference in perfomance?
