Chicago Cycle does have a large inventory of gear. It's self service so you can try out the gear you like and get it priced. If pricing is not to your satisfaction, you can always get over the internet. At least you'll have an idea of what size you'll need and how the gear looks and feels in person.

Your premium depends on a lot of factors, including credit rating. Your best bet is to get a website quote from companies such as Geico and Progressive. It'll give you a close enough estimate on what you can expect to pay.

Great find! I can use that mount for my Garmin 2720 gadgetguy casing. I've modified the casing to accept a RAM mount.

In certain urban areas, antenna repeaters are used to amplify the XM signals. As long as you have a somewhat clear view of the southern sky, you'll be fine.
