Well it feels funny being back on the board but before I sold my 04 2 yrs ago it had just 5 miles under 1000,000 miles and I real regret selling it to buy an Klr 650 because I just did'nt get the fun I had before also after putting almost 2,000.00 more into it my buddy up and sellsa his cause...

Benjammer I had the same problem with my 04 Genmar were on the bike when I bought as the dears owner used it for a short time I then put another riser that brought it up and back no more problems. rogerfjrfaster :yahoo:

The Weestrom is not a long distance tourer it dose'nt have the power to pass 2up but you'll finded it out soon enought, you can let her ride it and get the FJR for your self. :lol: rogerfjrfaster :yahoo:

I have to agree with OrangevaleFJR I've ridden my FJR loaded but not with a pillion and never had any wiggle as some say,too I also had a Wilbers raceing Suspension on my 04 and have done the dirty side and with just the top box on still no wiggle. rogerfjrfaster :yahoo:

maddad There is a company that has tours of both Islands you can do it by your self or with the group you just have to be at the ferry to go to the south island at a set time its sounds like alot of fun as my wief anmd I are going to Inda this fall will probably do it next year. Ayres...

Its possible you could hit rain or snow do you have an thermomiter on your bike thats shows possible ice on the roadway, you'll need heated gear for your ride especially at night and cold weather gloves.Its fun to do IBA rides asa I've got 4 done. 2 1k 19 hrs and 16 1/2 1500 BBG 23 1/2 hrs...
