After an inquiry, I measured the actual width of the vest at the bottom and at the bottom of the arm holes. This vest is 44 inches wide with the stretch panels at the waist expanded and 44 inches at the bottom of the arm hole.

I post this vest for a friend of mine whose wife wore it. I used his info to do the post.
