It appears he could have still suffered similar injuries if he was wearing an open face helmet.

Full face helmets are the only way I ride.

A little crazy glue and some duct tape and he'll be FINE! No problem!

People always believe it can't happen to them. I've broken enough bones and stuff to know it HURTS and I want my protective gear!

That's a much better scan than they did on my sinuses... I got ripped off, as usual. Mine looks like it was done by caveman jack with some crayons.

On the other hand, today Florida now has a helmet law... for riding horses! *snerk!*

I gotta say that was cool, but that had to hurt like Hell. Anyone notice the guys top teeth were all missing? This scan is yet another reason why my fullface and I are very good friends.

Ouch. I would have to say that he may not have made it. looking at the bone parts in the "space" where his brain should be and the cracks on the skull.
