I too would love to ride Baja someday. Coming from the Great White North, that would be a treat!

Tanker stay in touch with Papa Chuy and I'd be up for a return ride to Baja in 2014, maybe a run South for lobster at La Paz at Thanksgiving would be in the cards eh!

I went diving at LaPaz a few years ago. There were a lot of armed Federalez on the roads outside of town whatching for Cartel types. We had a local taxi owner take us where we wanted to go for a fair price, all the way to To Do Santos all day for $60.00. What a nice town though and good food. We felt safe enough there to let my elderly father- in law go to town during the day while we were on the boat. LaPaz has stayed more like the towns used to be before the cruise ships dominated travel & economy there.
