After attending the training event my buddy and I headed north to the twisties (video to come) to head over through a valley and over a mountain to Napa for lunch.

The food porn picture: Pulled pork (Bounty Hunter Wine Bar & Smokin’ BBQ, downtown Napa).

And on my way home I remembered I was out of beer.

And I always have to have a beer after a GREAT day of playing motorcycles!

Do real men drink raspberry-flavored beer?

(The pteradactyls look pretty happy, swimming in it.)

Moto-cops have serious bike handling skills. Would be nice to ride and get paid, but I/m not interested in the surly citizens they have to confront.

Not sure what he's done, but nicknames are usually earned ....

And I'm sure our buddy Surly is a (reasonably) nice guy; it's thugs, hotheads, and punks that usually meet motocops on the job -- and THOSE are the folks I was really referring to.

Motobike cops playing with cones is fun to watch. There was a competition in Folsom a few years ago that I went and photographed. I won't post the pictures here and dump on your thread, but it was a fun morning.
