I never really had any problem getting a CT mounted on my sidecar wheel at big auto tire chain stores.

Went back to the DarkSide today. I ran the General G-Max for a few yrs but this yr I went with Pilot Power 2CT. But now that's it's getting cooler in the mtns the rides turn toward the coast, perfect straight-and-flat for a c/t. This time is the Michelin Pilot Exalto AS. And no, smarty-pants motorsickle riders, it's not slipped up onto final drive yet........

I think you forfeit your darksider number when you pull stunts like that off.....you can get another one, tho.
Nah, I had my DarkSider number tattooed on my left buttcheek so when the naysayers having something to say about it I can show them pride in being different. I'd hate to have to change it now.

Ok, not really. Butt I have seriously thought about it just to shut the bass turds up!

I have a darkside tire and brake arm that I will sell for $50 plus shipping. Or, if you stop by I'll install it for you for free. The tire has less than 10,000 miles on it. It is a BF Goodrich GSM Supersport A/S

Thanks Mcatrophy. I kept getting a message that that extension is not allowed, presumably .jpg, which can usually be bypassed by doing the preview, then posting, but that wasn't giving me any love this time.

Wheel sold 11/22/16

There is just no drama about doing it now. People read the FAQ and just do it if that's what they are looking for. I sometimes get a 'thanks' email or pm from someone that doesn't care about the forum or a darkside number, just appreciated the info.

Besides, it takes so long to wear out a tire that the current offenders don't post up much.

I did some work to attempt to put a FJR rear wheel on my Super Ten, but it was going to take major wheel modification to fit the cush drive, so am stuck with motorcycle tires. I can't afford to ride much any more, so it takes me a lot longer to wear out tires and mostly isn't the issue it was when I was doing endurance rallies on the FJR and would burn thru a set of tires in two weeks.

Hey, I'm in winter hibernation in Minneapolis, but may get out my old 100,000 mile double darkside VTX today! My iPhone photos seem not to want to post on this forum from when I went double dark on my FJR last year. Oh, I can say that the pics of how my motorcycle rear tire on the front has re-shaped my Fenda Extenda are intriguing. So far in stages (wind down when the burning smell starts) I have had it up to 130 mph. Each speed stage has me removing more melted plastic from the front of the front fender (have pics of that too).

Holy crap is it fun to ride the twisties now!!! I can't wait until the threat of a snowstorm passes so I can get it out and get on it!

Crashed and burned today, that or went out BMR point collecting in the rain.

My latest tire is being temperamental, it's losing about #5 of air a day. My tire guy mounted and remounted it 3 times. hmmm

Picked up my replacement brake tension bar from powdercoat today. Will be installing along with a set of moto tires this weekend but now I'm ready for darkside should I choose to go that route in the future.
