Griff called today and told me the bad news. A perfect storm of events is conspiring to keep griff from being able to take this time off of work...so he is out. Gonna miss you there bud...next time. We are now working out the details of switching reservations from being under his name to being under mine.

However, with the bad news, is good news in that Karl and I now don't have to share barb and Tyler with griff. :clapping:

So old WheatonFJR n' crew are rolling into my hood and I won't be available to show them the hood due to work. Call me low-life. Guess I could at least take some piccies of the various hotels in Paso so they can see what they booked..

Last Sunday went on a scouting ride to take pix of local hotels and what not -

so they Bible belt boyz could see what kind of trouble they might be facing..

Hey thanks Don for the scouting report. Didn't see the Motel 6 that beemerdons got us to switch reservations to...but hey, that town looks upstanding. Sorry I won't get to ride along your favorite roads with you in May...but I'm still coming out there....even if yer not available.

I know I'm not bailing...and I don't think airboss is the type to bail on anything. So I've got the hammer down, full speed ahead for this little ride. I'm not an ironbutt kinda guy, so I'm sure I will be tired most of the time. But I think it will be a good kind of tired.

Speaking of riders disappearing, you do know that the world ends, Jesus is returning, Judgment Day will be upon us, and the Rapture is occurring on May 21, don't you? Earthquakes and all sort of bad shit to befall those of us not raptured off our bikes. Could interfere with breakfast at Alice's and the ride to Bodega Bay.
