Jay, you know we won't start the party without you. ;)
Thanks Dave I knew I could count on ya. I guess one good thing about leaving Friday I will not have a bunch of FJR's impeding my progress. ;)
Hmmm... I'm having enough trouble finding time to get all the final arrangements made and now I have to cancel Thursday's festivities. Crap! :p

(I think we'll start the party without you Jay... but we'll try not to have any fun. ;) )
Hey ya Jeff I would be naive to think that the party would be on put on hold. I will make up for lost time on Friday. Good work putting everything together, we all appreciate it.... :D

Oak Harbor, WA to Castlegar: we're new at this so taking it not too slow, not too fast, sorta in between; you know, half fast? We're going to take off 20 June. To revisit some memories from my lost youth I wanted to go through Oroville/Osoyoos and take 3 to Castlegar and was wondering if there were any reasons to avoid 3? Thanks, grumpy

Your route from Oroville/Osoyoos to Castlegar on 3 you will ride on BC-DH 24,79 and 58, good route

If you don't mind including a rider from Oregon in the group,I will meet up with you people in Winthrop. I plan on riding from my home in Salem to Winthrop on Wednesday and that will allow me to have a leisurely breakfast before the group passes through on Thursday.

Don't mind including Oregon in the convoy! Winthrop's 140 miles in, so figure between 10 - 10:30.

We'll firm up plans as it gets closer.

I have not decided if I'm leaving Wednesday w/ Panman, Hudson and Neihart, I will decide closer to see what the weather is going to do.

Barb -- We'll be at the Danville border crossing the afternoon of June 21st, probably around 2-2:30. We aren't leaving Seattle until that morning...no hook up then? :(

This'll be an epic trip Marcus...no worries, the sun always comes out just after you cross the border!

I've got an appointment at Rich's first thing Thursday morning, then hustling over. Maybe I'll catch ya if it doesn't take too long or at least catch up with any stragglers.

I would not plan on getting out of Rich's till mid afternoon, he can take all day, did you tell him you have a 350ish mile trip that day?

I have to admit it, reading the threads and posts from the Specific Northwet is my all time favorite pastime here on our fine FJR Forum. Even more entertaining than sheep sex, very close to as much fun as the Darksiding Bastards thread.

How in the Hell can you chimps have 55 posts to get 10 people from a 100 mile radius to Castlegar just 300 miles away? Richard Fairlaner says be in Spokane at X hour for a departure and 20 people just say OK. Not you PNW mooks!

Fixed it fer you Don...don't sell us short!

It's the rain dummy, and you're welcome for the entertainment!!

Now I'm off to the SouthWest section and see how many posts it takes YOU to get three people started from the Chevron station at 9:30 AM... :D
