FJR Police Bike for $22k...are they nuts?

I know what you mean! I have that problem with my (black) 08 FJR! I would still prefer the black FJR to the red one... I'm hoping the 2015 FJR is blue! Figure we have a 50/50 chance since Silver and Red have been used... leaving Black and Blue for 15 and 16 before the color cycle repeats...

FJR Police Bike for $22k...are they nuts?

Well, it would be funny if for nothing else then to blow people's minds when riding at speed through the canyons! :)

Thoughts after the first month of owning.

Welcome to the club! These FJRs are simply amazing bikes. On FJR #2 myself. This year I have had the good fortune of owning both a FJR and a FZ1 at the same time. The FZ1 is my solo bike and the FJR is my long distance/overnight/2up bike. Handling wise the FZ1 is faster and leans a little bit...

I was going to post pictures today... but it's a perfect day for riding. Going to use up the last of tires on the FZ1 (mini FJR) and report back. Oh, and FWIW, spotted Richard Branson of Virgin driving a Porsche Cayenne in Apsen..

    Saddle Sore 1K ride report

Re: Saddle Sore 1K ride report Leaving Montrose now. On to the black canyon! million dollar highway was as amazing as ever. Lots of RVs and fifth wheelers though. At least their easy to pass, just have to make your way through the caravan of cars piled up behind them. 667 miles so far on the...

    Saddle Sore 1K ride report

Made it through Durango, now at the base of the million dollar highway, 29 miles north of Durango and 590 miles into the day. Having an absolute blast. Ran into moderate traffic from Pagosa Springs through Durango but should be mostly traffic free until Montrose and then from there out. I'm...

    Saddle Sore 1K ride report

I did this route last weekend but over two days. Noticed that I was averaging around 500 miles per 8 hours and figured this would be a great route for a SS1K I've been wanting to do for years. Ride report will go here. Hoping to take some pictures, write up a good report. Maybe even a video...

    Crash no gear worn

Might be a stolen bike... I've seen videos of where the rider crashes, just walks away.

LEDRider LED Floods and Spots - FJR Forum discount

Just wanted to give a quick note. Justin sold (and installed!) a set of LR4s for me last Friday... on his birthday no less! Stand up guy! The 4-5 hours it took to install were intentional as to give me a ride home in the dark. Few things I learned on the 60 mile ride back. 1) These things...

Need route planning help! Colorado to PCH and back

This August my lovely wife and I will be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. Traveling on the motorcycle has become somewhat of an anniversary tradition. This year we want to hit up the Pacific Coast Highway. Here's where I need help planning. I'm not familiar with any motorcycle roads...

New FJR Owner: What happens when you lowside/washout?

Of all the times I've ridden with a GoPro, one time I didn't have it mounted was when I low-slid my first FJR two years ago. It had rained very heavily 30 minutes or so before and when going down a straight road highway at highway speeds (65-70mph?) my wife and I riding two up ran over some mud...
