:fans: I'm with Stu on this one. I ride with in the alphabets of Wisconsin, bad pavement, gravel, sand, and horse shit from the Amish buggy's, so my knees are gripping the tank a lot. After 26k on my '04 no noticable scuffing on the tank sides. I do like the look of those carbon fiber tasty...

Hey, I realize I'm a little late in reading this but GOOD shops deserve the kudos at least as much as the bad shops need a public flogging!! Name that shop! I really like Roy's Repair, and Manley's both in Mpls. Jeff Sanders

    Leather-up

Those DD's have been encased in leather but I'm not posting pics here! :P Plus after some rigorous testing I found that said units would not be to well protected as they tend to jut out... The leather just rips right off! Imagine that? :aaevil:

    Leather-up

Wow! Some really good prices there. At first glance I can't really tell how thick this apparel is. If its thick enough to offer protection then this is definitly the place to shop. Been looking for something for the little lady. So far nothing really fits her. Double D's :P are great until...

    Why I chose the FJR

Hey I'm not bitter. I just gotta smile (this time I had to post) when I keep seeing 145 HP posted up as this bikes claim to fame. Follow those ad exec's propaganda! They love it! I've owned 145 HP bikes at the wheel, and this ain't one of 'em. I've owned 100HP bikes (at the wheel, THEY claimed...

    Why I chose the FJR

You guys are "fooling" yourselves if you think this bike has 145 pony's...Maybe at the crank, but who gives a shit about that? I'm guessing about 125 HP at the wheel, and with its rotund wt. it feels like a 100HP bike when you whack it open I bought it inspite of its merely adequate power...
