I have an 05 that does the same thing. Originally I thought it was the wheel bearings too but when I removed the wheels (to replace the tires) the bearings checked out fine. It's made this noise/feel from day one on each set of tires. It must not be a problem because I've got 36,000 miles on...

I'm with the "Ain't broke don't fix it" camp. I had an original go out last year (2005 model) so I bought two after reading about both going out at the same time, changed one and the other is still good.

Congratulations Don, it takes a big man to stand up and make good on his debts. I admire your efforts. Too many people today are taking the easy way out with a chapter 7 or 13 and letting the rest of society, you and me, pay their debts. Once again, congrats, it will only get better from here.

I used Yamaha's six months same as cash deal then paid it off after five months. If you go beyond the six months, they really stick it to you.

I have done both the refrigerator (actually I used the freezer) and the water in the helmet technique. They both work, the freezer does have some visor fogging issues, but the fog goes away quickly, as soon as you start riding, however this technique does not keep your head cool for very long...
