I was considering this product because it has great reviews on another sport touring forum but I was only able to find one thread on this forum here. It was from about three years ago on the product so I was wondering if there are any newer opinions. In addition, I have another bike with tubes...

I find it much easier to back the bike up so that the rear tire is resting on a 1 inch piece of wood, it takes a lot less effort.

Maybe my 08 is a freak of nature because it is not there, it is located behind the panel well out of sight. Good luck!

see post #8 on this thread, unlike the article posted above it is not located there on the 08. It is behind the right side fairing about half way up. It has a phillips head for adjustment.

I have learned so much from reading the site and try to search as much as possible, but it is a lot of reading and sometimes I say to myself, I read that somewhere and then still cant find it, go figure. Thanks for all the information, I really appreciate the site.

I think I need to print that information and commit it to memory along with the other hundreds of lines of great information that could take days to read, I wish I had the memory of some on here that obviously know everything!

As I posted on a different thread you may want to try Best Buy at your local store, they were selling the Zumo 550 for 539.00 apx 20 miles away from me but none were in stock and it is an in store item only. The closest store with one in stock was 200 miles. Its a lot more on line at Best...

The Best Buy sales guy showed me the screen where the ZUMO 550 is being clearanced, some stores have it in stock for 539.00, unfortunately none near me and he stated it is an in store pickup only. Oh well, I wonder what they are coming out with.
