    EOM 2015 Home Safe Thread

I made it home back to eastern Long Island at around 1:00 this afternoon after chasing Cota and Scorpa for the last 6 days. Very sorry to hear about Steve's mishap and wish him a quick recovery and a life back to normal. I want to thank Wayne and his magic elves for putting on another...

    It's Been A While

Congratulations Andy! I did notice that the current employment rate had gone up by .0000000000000000001% and was wondering if it was someone that I knew. Good luck in the new endeavor and make sure you contact me if you find yourself in my neck of the woods.

    2014 EOM Jordan's Initiative Donation

Wayne had contacted me last week to let me know that, once again, the FJR family had rallied in a big way and opened their hearts to generously donate to our foundation honoring my son Jordan. I was able to attend NAFO this year but couldn't extend my vacation to EOM so I missed many of you...

Father with family in SUV chased, beaten by speed-demon bikers

Amazing how you can totally offend 34,500 members of the NYPD and 8,345,000 NYC residents with a single sweeping, bigoted, overexaggerated, uneducated statement! It is actually hilarious coming from someone who is from Milwaukee which has literally 3 times the violent crime rate of NYC......

    EOM 2013 Thank You’s and parting thoughts…

Michelle and I can't thank everyone enough for their ongoing support of Jordan's Inititiative in memory of my son. From the very time that Jordan made the decision to serve his country and enter the Marine Corps in 2006, members of the FJR community have stepped forward to offer me and my...

    Five Years Gone By...

Thank you Fred for posting such a heartfelt ride report and to you and George for honoring Jordan's memory with your visit. I truly appreciate everything that my forum friends have said and done in the past and all the things that you still do today. I'm not on the forum as much these days but...

    Duke has passed RIP

Seeing old Duke in his private cabin on the FJR still brings a smile to my face every time (and not many things do).... Very sorry to hear of his passing but I'm sure that there is no friend out there who has lived a more adventurous life.

Has anyone heard from The Axeman?

Wow! Thanks for all the concern but I can assure everyone that everything is A-OK in my world these days....Aside from the fact that I was forced to endure 2 weeks of sandy beaches, ATV's in the jungle, umbrella drinks, scantily clad women, cave tubing, unlimited food, no cell phone, no email...

    Time for a new bike?

Holy cow Wayne! I can only imagine what must have been running through your mind as you were tumbling down the highway...Very glad to hear that you are relatively OK and that you are at home safe and sound.

Going Flat Black, piece by piece

The look reminds me of a Plastidip job. You know, the same stuff they dip pliar handles in. I did this to the rims, grill, and fender flares on my Toyota Tundra and it looks awesome. The beauty of it is that if you don't like it, you simply peel it off. If you don't like the flat black look...

    Cataract surgery

I had both eyes done about a year ago. It took longer to fill out the paperwork than it did to have the actual surgery. Super easy, no pain, and you can see perfectly right after it is done.

9th annual Ride to the Rock 11/26

Brother Martin and I are staying at the Courtyard on Friday night. Its about 3 miles away from the Casa Cota. Bob Seger concert for Michelle and I on Saturday night at Mohegan Sun....I always like to wait 30 years after an artist is popular before I go see them live (sort of).

9th annual Ride to the Rock 11/26

I'm counting on George to do some surgery on my front tire and extract the smartire sensor and band clamp before we head out. It looks like we are going to have a nice weekend according to Wunderground. :yahoo:
