    Garauld (on this forum)

I'll keep this short because I'm posting from my phone, but Garauld's work is first rate. I sadly joined the crash club last fall and was dreading the thought of buying a new bag. No need. Here is a before and after. Thanks again!!!!

    Heated seat

Get the Bun Warmer from Aerostich. I installed one on my 08 factory seat a month after I bought it and LOVE it. Here are some crappy cell phone pictures of it. You can see the switch and you can just barely make out the outline of the heater.

Motorcycles passing through a red light

This is also the case in PA. It's considered a broken signal.

I'm 33 so I guess that makes me below average!

    Jacket idea

While I don't think that this is a bad idea (I also have a CCW), I can't imagine a better jacket than my Roadcrafter for the bike, and I tend to not carry just from the potential injury that could occur with an impact (as others have stated). Good luck either way, and I'll be watching this with...

    Avoiding cracks when drilling plastic

I have to agree that drilling isn't the problem. I drilled out two holes for powerlets (clicky) with a spade bit and have had no cracking yet ,almost a year later. The powerlets that I bought came with an aluminum and a rubber washer. I used these and have had no problems with any cracks...

    Aerostich Darien Pants

And if you're looking for warmth, then black really is the best color anyway.

    Aerostich Darien Pants

I don't have the Darien Pants but I do have the Aerostich AD1 pants. They fit very well and are supposed to be made of a heavier material than the Dariens.

Boost Your Luggage Capacity With Frame Bags

These are a good idea. I was looking at something similar from Helen Two Wheels, but this solution costs less, so I might consider this instead. Thanks. Here's the HTW link just in case. https://www.racerpartswholesale.com/categor...s_And_Tool_Roll

    Removing grips with compressed air

You don't have to, but they are great to have! I just picked up one of these a few months ago and it is very quiet and reliable. Worth every penny!

    Heated Grip Switch

Who knows, maybe the naysayers are right and it won't fit, I knew that was a possibility going into it, but if it does I think it's an elegant solution to the problem. Rather than root for it's failure, I prefer to hope for it's success, but only time will tell. Anyway, if it does work, I will...

https://www.blacklabcorp.com/all-kleer-motorcycle.htm On a slightly different note, this stuff is great for your windshield or helmet visor!

    Heated Grip Switch

Well gee, maybe I shouldn't try it at all. Let me go figure out what everyone else did and just do that too.

    Heated Grip Switch

I honestly don't think that I'll need to do that. I think that there is enough room for me to move the control housing to the left and leave the clutch where it is. But i'll know for sure when it shows up.

    Heated Grip Switch

That's actually my garage door opener switch. Like I said in my first post if I hadn't done that already I would use the "kill" button for that purpose.
