    Just thought I'd look...

So my '13 FJR is now paid off finally, and still loving it. Ive always had a lustful eye on the BMW 1200 RT. So I decided to poke around the BMW forums. Uh no thanks. It is filled with complaints and problems. Good Lord. Lust is gone.

Ventilation panels on Gen 3 FJR

Last winter I noticed no difference between the two. Given, it only get to about 39 here, but still. I just leave them in the closed/down position coz I think it looks better. I did notice a difference on my gen2, but not gen3.

New version of ''MV Motorrad Riser Plate'' with a ready threaded hole & A Ram Mount Ball offered now!(PICTURES!)

Ride went well...about 130 miles. Very very nice improvement. I set it about 2/3 of the way back, and it seems to be a tiny bit too much flayed out, so I think I'll move them all the back (closest to me) to bring them in a bit. Otherwise, very nice farkle. Should make the long rides much more...

New version of ''MV Motorrad Riser Plate'' with a ready threaded hole & A Ram Mount Ball offered now!(PICTURES!)

Got my riser on Tuesday, and finally installed today. Installed my new hyperlites as well, but unrelated :P Not gonna bore you with a ton of pics as theres plenty here already, but needless to say installation was pretty easy. There are two adapters to extend the brake lines, clutch lines, etc...

Ever have a ride like this?

So, this morning, preparing for work, I go out to my garage like I always do...start the feejer like I always do...zip the jacket...put the helmet and gloves on...back it out...like I always do. Then something happened. Same routine Ive done for years, but today...somehow I felt like one with...

RIP my friend. Another tragic loss.

Thanks again for the kind words. His oldest daughter just came by work to pick up his things. She asked if I could walk her out to her car, and she sobbed in my arms. Again, thank you everyone for your kind words. Taking the tragedy out of it, theres blame on both sides. The car for not paying...

RIP my friend. Another tragic loss.

Yeah Ive ridden this route many times and I can tell you visibility is VERY far. Theres alot of things unknown here, but the two things I know that werent a factor is 1. Mike wasnt speeding, and 2. Mike wasnt under the influence. Thanks all for your condolences. Its pretty somber here at work...

RIP my friend. Another tragic loss.

A co-worker and good friend of mine passed on Thursday in a bike accident. He leaves behind two beautiful daughters. He was always positive, joking, and could lift your spirits. Please keep Mike's family in your prayers. And no, he did not follow the ATGATT rule. It is unclear whether or not it...

    2013 hard downshifting

2013 here as well, and I, like others, have the same issue. Like K/W Motoman, it really only happens when its cold.

    2013 FJR Adjustable Vents

Well gen2 was certainly much better than gen1...but gen 3 is a noticeable difference.

    2013 FJR Adjustable Vents

I rode with mine in the out position most of the winter. And although it only gets to about 38-45 here, I really couldnt notice a difference from when they were in. Now, on my '09, I *could* tell the difference. But mama yammy has apparently fixed the heat issue.
