Actually, you can put the F4 into VOX mode for the intercomm so that you don't have to use the MF button to talk to your pillion while listening to music. It will toggle back and forth when you start talking.

SkooterG - Did you get a chance to try the 4300K we sent? JamesK - I agree it might be better to have the covered fuse holder depending on your installation. I didn't use the fuse (having a fuzeblock) so didn't think about that. I'll see if those can be changed out.

That's the way I run the 'switched' items on my fuzeblock. I tapped the heated grip wire down by the coolant overflow bottle to get the +12v-after-engine-start signal.

You might also look at the Interphone F4. Same basic capabilities as the other two and at least one of it's speakers is connected with a 2.5mm plug so you'd only have to modify one side. I'm really happy with mine.
