Four valves at low end of clearance spec. Button her up or adjust?

I've performed the second valve clearance check on my 05 with 54kmi on the clock. Six valves have tightened (5 exhaust & 1 intake) since the first check at 28k which required no adjustment. Two exhaust valves are now at the bottom end of spec (.18mm) and one intake (.15mm) so two intakes are now...

    MotoFizz camping seat bag

I've been eyin' the MotoFizz Camping Seat Bag as replacement to my trusty but awkward duffel bag to hold my camping gear and other sh....stuff on longer trips. The pics on the site and in the review do not show the underside of the bag which I wanna to see to get a better idea for how it will...

    Stuck Gas Cap

Went to fill it up. Insert key, twist, no dice. Huh? Twist again, nope. WTF. Gave it a little tug, still ain't gonna. Maybe something is up with the latch and it's not retracting. I'll just remove the allen screws and pull out the entire assembly to see what's up. Nope, something additional that...

When Does The Rev Limiter Kick In?

Got 7k+ now on my 05 so let's see what the rev limiter feels like when it kicks in, and when. I recall 9300 from somewhere. I thought it prudent to verify it's operation and what it feels like under "controlled" conditions. Long, smooth, straight, empty, three lane, familiar stretch, albeit at...

    Sylanvia Silverstar H4's

Lost another set of Sylvania SilverStar H4's on my 05. Both high beams went bye bye on the same day as was the case last time. Not sure exactly how far apart their deaths were though. This set lasted about the same as the first set: ~7 weeks and ~2000 miles. I checked the voltage at the battery...

Rear Shock Hard <-> Soft Adjustment

There's no mention of this in the manual, but the only way to switch between the hard and soft settings on my 05 is to put the bike up on the centerstand. When on the sidestand or with me on the bike, it won't quite go. It feels as if it just might go if I push harder, but this at the point...

    Aerostich Roadcrafter Suite

I'm finding myself drawn to the Aerostich Roadcrafter for its chick-magnet styling and for the brutal winters we have here in California. For those that have one and are close to my dimensions (6.0', ~185lbs), does it fit in a FJR's saddlebag? I prefer leaving all my ridding gear in the bike...
